I completed my pre-pharmacy studies at Brooklyn College and completed my PharmD at Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy (LIU Pharmacy). When I am not working or reading, I enjoy spending my time with friends and family. Some of my hobbies include watching movies, playing any type of sport (especially handball), exploring new places, and eating. I am ecstatic to continue my pharmacy career as a PGY2 resident at The Brooklyn Hospital Center through the LIU-Pharmacy partnership. I look forward to continuing to learn and work with my team and making a positive impact on patient care.

Katlyn Grossman - PGY-2 Ambulatory Care - University of Pittsburgh, PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at The Brooklyn Hospital Center I am from Cleveland, OH and attended pharmacy school at the University of Pittsburgh (Hail to Pitt!). For fun I like hiking, traveling, watching hockey, and trying to pet people's dogs while they're not looking. I'm always looking for new podcasts and happy hour recommendations. This next year I am most excited about getting exposure to some of the specialty ambulatory care clinics at TBHC and getting the opportunity to work with students. Rachel Quinn - PGY-2 Ambulatory Care - Wilkes University, School of Pharmacy, PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at VAMC Hudson Valley, NYI was born and raised in Goshen, NY. I graduated from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania in 2016 and completed my PGY1 pharmacy residency at VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in Wappingers Falls, NY. In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing with my dog Lexie, and spending time with friends and family. I just completed my 8th marathon (Chicago) while completing my PGY-2. I am very excited to spend the next year in Brooklyn completing my PGY2 in ambulatory care.

David Yang, PharmD - PGY-2 – Emergency Medicine - Rutgers University, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy - PGY-1 Pharmacy resident at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, NJI was born in China but moved to Cherry Hill, New Jersey at a young age. I graduated with my PharmD from Rutgers University in 2016 and recently completed my PGY1 residency at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. In my spare time, I like to discover new music and watch everything football-related (go Eagles!). I am thrilled to be joining The Brooklyn Hospital Center as the PGY2 Emergency Medicine resident and look forward to an excellent year with my co-residents and preceptors.

I got my bachelor’s degree at Hunter College and I attended Touro College of Pharmacy, NY. I love spending time with my son and my family, as well as reading, cross-stitching and hanging out with my friends. I love to cook, read, jog and cuddle with my cats Bruce Wayne and Minnie in my spare time. Although I’ve enjoyed my time living in the Great Plains, I’m excited to experience all that Brooklyn has to offer! I am interested in ambulatory care, pediatrics and academia and I look forward to growing as a clinician in the upcoming year with my co-residents and preceptors. I received a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biology at Eastern Washington University and completed my PharmD at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, NC. I enjoy reading on my off-time and I am excited to explore all that NYC has to offer, I already have ballet tickets. I attended pharmacy school at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy (Rutgers University) in New Brunswick, NJ. I spend a lot of my time with my family because they are my biggest support system and because they are all super funny. Some of my hobbies include reading, exploring new coffee shops, hanging out with friends, and trying to learn how to play my new hank drum.
